The award was presented to Renacci at RPM Corporate in Medina, Ohio.
“I am pleased to receive the NAM Award for Manufacturing Legislative Excellence,” Renacci said. “The manufacturing industry is essential to our economy in Ohio’s 16th District and across the country. That is why I will continue to support policies that will allow companies like RPM to grow and create jobs here in northeast Ohio and beyond.”
The NAM Award for Manufacturing Legislative Excellence is given each year to a members of Congress who exhibits strong leadership, and demonstrates support for legislation and policies which provide opportunities and strengthen the ability of U.S. manufacturers to grow and succeed in the national and global economy.
“Manufacturing in Ohio and across the country is making a comeback,” NAM President and CEO Jay Timmons said. “Manufacturers are growing the economy and creating high-paying jobs in a sector that adds $1.32 to the economy for every $1 spent. Rep. Renacci understands that leaders in Washington must advance policies that will continue to fuel this economic growth and has consistently supported manufacturers through his votes in Congress.”
