Five companies receive incentives to bring projects, jobs to Ohio

Five companies received incentives from the state of Ohio on Monday for projects that could bring 271 new jobs to the state and retain 339 more positions, Gov. John R. Kasich announced.

The approval for the projects – expected to bring $25 million in investment across the state – came during the Ohio Tax Credit Authority’s monthly meeting.

The projects include:

Lubrication Specialties Inc. will expand its Chester Township location, create 20 full-time jobs and retain nearly $600,000 in existing annual payroll in exchange for a 35-percent, five-year Job Creation Tax Credit.

Sage Sustainable Electronics LLC will expand its location in Columbus, create 52 full-time jobs and retain $109,000 in existing payroll in exchange for a 45-percent, six-year Job Creation Tax Credit.

R.K. Administration Services LLC will build a new Rural King Supply location in Waverly, creating 120 new full-time positions in exchange for a 50-percent, seven-year Job Creation Tax Credit.

Webster Industries Inc. will expand in Tiffin, create 65 full-time positions and retain $11.9 million in existing payroll in exchange for a 45-percent, seven-year Job Creation Tax Credit.

Ampacet Inc. will expand its operations at a to-be-determined Ohio location and create 14 full-time positions that will generate $2.1 million in annual payroll in exchange for a 40-percent, five-year Job Creation Tax Credit.
